Description:
Canadian Glendyne 508mm x 457mm Slate & Halves are for use with the main slate (500 x 300 mm), on the verge or gable end of a pitched roof and along hips and valleys. Additionally, slate & halves are commonly used around roof windows.
Quarried in Canada the Glendyne slate is dark grey in colour with tones of blue. The Glendyne slate is highly resilient and has been proven around the world to withstand the most severe weather conditions.
In the UK, the this slate has proved to be a good match in both quality and appearance for the Welsh Ffestiniog and other blue/grey British natural slate. The Glendyne is a firm favourite with many self builders, developers and specifiers for its consistent high quality and minimal unstable mineral content.
