Description:
Chesterplus 3H is a perforated pour and roll membrane which offers vapour dispersement prior to fitting the second and third waterproofing layers. It features a glass fibre core which is saturated and coated in high quality bitumen, and has a light sand finish.
When incorporated in a suitably designed and installed multi-layer system, maintained in accordance with BS 8217:2005 – Reinforced bitumen membranes for roofing, Chesterplus 3H will provide reliable performance.
To complete a full system, Chesterplus 3H is fitted as the initial venting layer and is overlayed with suitable Chesterfelt underlay and capsheet membranes. When used as part of a multi-layer built up roofing system, it provides reliable waterproofing protection and is suitable for use on a wide range of buildings.
This product should be installed in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and all relevant national standards and codes of practice, including BS 8217:2005 – the code of practice for reinforced bitumen membranes for roofing.
